Brave India fought to the death

Australia have beaten to India by 125 runs

India was set a total of 360 to win and it was a mountain that was just too high. Especially when Sachin Tendulkar went in the first over and the second over was a maiden.

In the end it was not meant to be for India. Australia were too strong on the day. Both teams were playing their 543rd International match but Australia have now won the World cup three times.
