Luiz Felipe Scolari says he is happy to stay as Portugal coach.
"Portugal offers me everything I need," the Brazilian said in an interview late Thursday with Portuguese public broadcaster RTP.
Scolari's contract expires at the end of June after the European Championship. The coach, who has been in charge of the national team since 2003, said he has not yet discussed a possible extension with the Portuguese soccer federation.
Scolari denied reports he was preparing to take over as manager of Premier League club Manchester City.
"I have no agreement with that club," Scolari said.
Scolari's spokesman, Acaz Fellegger, said Tuesday that City has approached Scolari through a person close to the coach, but that negotiations would likely wait until after Euro 2008.
Manchester City owner Thaksin Shinawatra said this week he is mulling whether to fire coach Sven-Goran Eriksson.
Scolari said over the past five years he has been approached by Real Madrid, Barcelona, and the England and Italy national associations.
