Extra time goals by Lee Trundle and Michael McIndoe gave Bristol City a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace on Tuesday and a place in the promotion playoff final at Wembley to decide who ascends to the English Premier League.
Gary Johnson's team triumphed 4-2 on aggregate will face either Hull or Watford, who face each other on Wednesday. Hull has a 2-0 lead and also home advantage in the second leg.
Trailing 2-1 from the first leg, Palace tied the aggregate score when Ben Watson tallied in the 24th minute at Bristol City's Ashton Gate. Watson could have captured a spot in the final for Palace but hit the post with a penalty attempt in the 72nd minute.
