The German football federation (DFB) have said that Juergen Klinsmann is ready to renew his contract as German national football team coach after next year's World Cup finals.
Klinsmann expressed interest for renewing his contract at a meeting with DFB and other football officials, said the DFB. DFB President Theo Zwanziger said "I have felt for weeks that he enjoys the job. It is good for us to know that we can plan with him on a long term basis."
Klinsmann became German national coach after Rudi Voeller in 2004 on a contract lasting till the World Cup finals are held in Germany next year.
The announcement has come after Klinsmann ended a dispute with Bundesliga coaches at a meeting over training method and his insistance on living in California, the United States as German national coach.
Recently Klinsmann has been strongly criticised by club managers for returning to California immediately after the German-China friendly, in which club coaches thought German players played poorly. They won the match 1-0.
