Klinsmann left Woerns off his 20-man squad which was named on Thursday to play Italy in a friendly on March 1, angering one of his country's most experienced defenders. Woerns said that being left out was "wrong and untruthful."
Klinsmann did say at the time that Woerns' "critical comments aren't understood by us at all and we can't accept his behaviour."
Woerns, who played at the 1998 World Cup and has 66 caps, is upset that two non-regular starters - Borussia Dortmund teammate Christoph Metzelder and Chelsea's Robert Huth were chosen over him.
