All Black and Hurricanes flanker Victor Vito is in doubt for the Super Rugby play offs if his team qualify after injuring his knee playing against Ireland.
The Hurricanes currently occupy the sixth and last Super Rugby play off place in the Super Rugby standings and are gauranteed at least four points as they have a bye to come.
Vito has been ruled out of the All Blacks second and third Test matches and could be sidelined for up to five weeks.
Chiefs flanker Liam Messam has been called up to the All Black squad but Adam Thomson, who replaced Vito when he limped from the field on Saturday is expected to start in the All Blacks No. 6 jersey in the match at Christchurch.
