Grant - Terry & Drogba will face United

Chelsea manager Avram Grant believes John Terry and Didier Drogba will play through the pain barrier to face Manchester United in next week's Champions League final.

Terry suffered a dislocated elbow during his side's match against Bolton on Sunday and left Stamford Bridge with his arm in a sling.

Drogba was forced to play the final minutes of the 1-1 draw despite limping with a knee injury because Grant had already made all his substitutions.

England defender Terry hasn't trained since and it has been suggested he may need pain-killing injections to be ready for the clash in Moscow on May 21, while Grant admitted he is unsure if Drogba will be fully fit.

Despite that, both of Chelsea's talismanic stars are almost certain to take their places in Grant's starting line-up according to the Israeli.

"We need to wait for training tomorrow but John Terry I think will be okay," Grant told Sky Sports News.

"With Didier Drogba, I don't how serious it is but I think he will do everything possible to play in this game." After United pipped Chelsea in the title race, Sir Alex Ferguson claimed his side would have the edge in Russia, but Grant disagrees.

"I don't think any team has the advantage. We've played two times against them this season, we won two weeks ago and we lost at Old Trafford in my first game," he said.

"The referee gave a red card, penalty and a goal - nothing was the right decision. I don't think they are better than us and in these games anything is possible."

With AC Milan and Inter Milan interested in Drogba and reports claiming Frank Lampard and Petr Cech could ask to leave, Grant was quick to make it clear there would be no close-season exodus of the club's stars.

"There is no truth in these rumours because no one except me and the owner know the players for next season," he added.

"Since I've been in football I've heard so many rumours. He (Drogba) didn't say he wants to leave and the club don't say they want him to leave."
