FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke has been fiercely critical of Brazil's World Cup preparations, saying he has received a report on the 2014 hosts' stadium construction and it is "not very nice."
Valcke said at Johannesburg's Soccer City stadium - the venue for the 2010 final - that "Brazil is not on time, Brazil is not on track."
FIFA has selected 12 Brazilian cities to hold games at the next World Cup, but Valcke says the sole candidate country for 2014 was already falling behind deadlines.
Valcke received the report Monday morning and says "it is amazing how Brazil is already late ... and I am talking about a number of stadiums."
